UnderTech Under Cover Concealment Shirt & Belly Band Concealment Holster

Shirt Holster

Here is an innovative shirt holster combined with a belly band offering. I really like the idea behind it for a number of reasons.

One issue that is solver by either the concealment shirt or the belly band holster is the bathroom issue. Yeah, I know, no one wants to talk about it.

Especially when you are in a public restroom that is never the cleanest, having a gun in a holster on your belt is going to take your pants down to the floor, there's just no avoiding it.

And, depending on the holster you could even have the firearm slip out of the holster.

Oh, and how about someone reaching under the stall and grabbing your gun, then taking off? How soon are you going to be out there chasing them?

This is a holster system that seems tailor made for a Springfield XDS .45 or 9mm.

Springfield XDS Holster - Hybrid IWB Holster, SHTF Gear ACE-1

Concealed Carry XDS Holster - Tuckable & Adjustable

(With or Without Crimson Trace Laserguard, Left or Right Hand)

This Springfield XDS holster is a real gem; not only did I find it while searching, but I also came across people recommending it in comments on other holsters that they didn't like!

ACE stands for "Always Combat Ready" and the company seems to really be into providing a quality product and backing it with customer service; refreshing these days.

The holster comes with a lifetime warranty, 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee, and free replacement belt clips for life.

When you order it on Amazon you can actually contact them for a left handed model if you need that, they will hand make it, check it for fit and ship it to you. And it will probably go out their door in less than a week. It beats buying mass produced stuff from Asia where they aren't even allowed to have a fine firearm like the Springfield XDS.

This holster is also available, as you can see by the image captions at left, as a regular Springfield XDS holster or XDS with Crimson Trace Laserguard.

Tuckable IWB XDS Holster

I really like the tuckable IWB (Inside Waist Band) XDS holsters because I often tuck my shirts in!

For so many years the IWB holsters must have been for police who didn't have to worry if their gun showed; and yes, there are a few states that allow open carry, but most are CONCEALED carry and sometimes rather snooty about it.

Price And Durability

The SHTF Gear ACE-1 is moderately to higher priced as holsters go, but with laser cut leather, custom molded kydex with kevlar stitching, it should last a lifetime. And if it doesn't, well, as long as the company is still in business then contact them for a warranty fix or replacement!

You can adjust this holster for ride height and cant so that you get the perfect draw that you want. Notice that the cut in the leather is designed to help you get a full grip "purchase" during the draw.

The reviews on this holster are exceptional so you can expect you will be satisfied too.

Specializing In Tuckable XDS Holsters Right Now

Tuckable Holsters For Springfield XDS Concealed Carry

My background is Small Business IT consultant, though that's not what I really do anymore. For comfort in the humid, sticky months of Illinois I preferred wearing T-shirts for work and had an abundance of (what I thought were) neat aircraft related ones and tucked them into blue jeans.

Naturally there was no concealed carry in Illinois then, but even now whether I wear a T-shirt and shorts in the Texas heat or a polo style shirt it's almost always tucked in.

So a tuckable IWB Springfield XDS holster makes the most sense to me if looking for a concealed carry solution. Now, even if they approved open carry, I'm not sure I would, but at the range or around a farm or ranch that's absolutely appropriate.

There are some very nice tuckable IWB holsters for the XDS and I have already written about a couple of them over at Squidoo:

FoxX Holsters Springfield XD-S IWB Hybrid Holster - which I think looks like a nice holster for the price.
- Another very popular model with a sorta cool name
Springfield XDS Right Hand Pro Carry Hybrid Tuckable Gun Holster - And this one seems to be made by a firm that takes a lot of pride in their work (and U.S. made)

Notice several of these are Right or Left hand available! But not all are adjustable if that's important to you. Since I have found very few decent holsters in local retail stores (even large Cabela's stores) the links at Squidoo are to my favorite retailer, Amazon.com where I've found the biggest selection and best prices.

I hope you find a tuckable XDS holster that works well for you.
